How to Bake Your Cookie-in-a-Jar Cookies

Ingredients to Add (not included in the jar):

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. 
   Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
   
2. 
   Mix Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
   
3. 
   Combine with Jar Mix: Pour the cookie mix from the jar into the wet ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms.
   
4. 
   Shape Cookies: Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
   
5. 
   Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
   
6. 
   Cool: Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
   
7.
